For Patients
1. By seeking services from TISO and accepting these Terms & Conditions, patients certify that they are Indian citizens currently undergoing medical treatment in India under the care of a registered healthcare provider in India.
2. TISO does not provide medical treatment, does not create or recommend treatment plans, and does not prescribe medications.
3. TISO’s role is limited to health education and patient empowerment, helping patients and caregivers better understand their health condition so they may have informed discussions with their treating healthcare providers.
4. TISO shall not be responsible or liable for any treatment plan, its execution, or the outcomes of care provided by the patient’s treating physician or healthcare institution.
5. TISO may, where appropriate, provide general information or pointers to non-governmental organizations (NGOs) that may offer financial assistance.
- TISO does not provide financial assistance of any kind.
6. TISO team members will interact with patients only after acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
7. Patients are advised not to share personal or sensitive information, except for name and age.
- TISO shall not be responsible for any data breach or misuse of information that is beyond its reasonable control.
For Physicians
1. Physician participation with TISO is entirely voluntary. Physicians may indicate their availability and the amount of time they are willing to devote.
2. Physicians associated with TISO do not treat patients, do not provide treatment plans, and do not prescribe medications.
- All clinical responsibility remains with the patient’s local treating healthcare team.
3. Physicians may, to the best of their knowledge:
- Review and help patients understand the diagnosis
- Provide appropriate health education
- Offer counseling related to the clinical condition
- Suggest general investigations that may help confirm a diagnosis (without ordering or prescribing)
4. Physicians may interact with patients to educate and empower them, enabling better communication with their treating physicians.
5. TISO will not recommend or suggest specific hospitals or doctors, unless explicitly requested by the patient to identify centers or areas of expertise relevant to their condition.
6. All participating physicians are expected to adhere to medical ethics and professional standards, including norms related to patient confidentiality and privacy.
