TISO supports Indian citizens who are currently receiving medical care in India and are facing complex or serious medical decisions.

If you are an Indian citizen living or receiving treatment outside of India, we are unfortunately not able to support your case at this time.

• Cancer
• Blood disorders, including malignant and benign conditions
• Neurological conditions
• Gastrointestinal (GI) conditions
• Other complex medical or surgical cases

Eligibility

To be considered for a review, you must meet the following criteria:

• You are an Indian citizen receiving medical care in India
• You are able to communicate via WhatsApp, email, and video call
• You can share relevant medical records for review
• You are able to complete required consent and confidentiality forms

Required Medical Documents

To allow our volunteer clinicians to provide an informed and meaningful review, patients are asked to submit relevant medical documentation, which may include:

• A summary of your diagnosis or treating physician’s notes
• Recent imaging reports (such as CT, MRI, PET, or ultrasound reports)
• Pathology or biopsy reports, if applicable
• Laboratory test results
• Treatment history, including medications or prior procedures
• Any additional documents your treating doctor has provided that explain your condition

All information is handled confidentially and reviewed only by authorized medical volunteers.

Our role is to help patients better understand their diagnosis, explore potential options, and prepare informed questions for their treating physicians.

If a case falls outside our scope, we will inform you and, when possible, suggest appropriate next steps.
