TISO provides clear guidance and trustworthy second opinions so that no one has to move through this experience alone. Our volunteer medical team reviews every case with care, offering practical insights and genuine compassion.

Our goal is to help patients and caregivers feel confident, informed, and empowered when making healthcare decisions. Our Founders

Badarinadh Vissapragada

Philanthropist and Healthcare Advocate

Badarinadh Vissapragada has over 35 years of professional experience in the oil and gas industry and is now dedicated to philanthropic work focused on healthcare access and patient advocacy. Based in Boston, Massachusetts, he serves as a Massachusetts SHINE Counselor, helping individuals navigate complex health insurance decisions.

He is actively involved in multiple nonprofit initiatives supporting healthcare access, cancer awareness, and community well-being in India. TISO was founded from his belief that compassionate listening and clear medical understanding can significantly reduce patient anxiety and support better healing journeys.

Our Founders

Dr. Ravi Vissapragada

General Surgeon, Flinders Medical Centre

Dr. Vissapragada is a General Surgery trainee at Flinders University and Medical Centre in Adelaide, Australia, with clinical interests in gastric and esophageal cancers, Barrett’s esophagus, and gastroesophageal reflux disease. He has trained and practiced across Australia, the United States, and the United Kingdom, bringing a global perspective to patient care and surgical education.

His work focuses on improving patient outcomes through evidence based practice, early disease detection, and sustainable healthcare delivery. He is particularly interested in health economics, surgical education, and collaborative research aimed at improving access, quality, and long term outcomes in surgical care.
